California Trip Part 1


Keegan got to meet Kira, he loved her and she was unsure about him, especially since he picked up a pipe and hit her with it to say hello. 


I dont know how well you can read that sign but it was just notifying you that Disneyland causes Cancer, so now we know the world is ending, when the happiest place on earth causes cancer.


 Last month we went to California for a week, and we decided to brave the car ride down with Keegan and he did get till the last 3 hours turned into 6 because of traffic. And then he hated his caar seat for a few weeks after.
The first full day we had in California we took Keegan to his first trip to Disneyland. Everyone said we were crazy for taking him but we have gone the last two years so it isnt something super special for us. And Keegan loved, he tried so hard not to sleep the whole time we were there. This is a picture of him on the tram ride to Disneyland he was so excited, squealing the whole ride, and yet he had no idea what was to come.

We went on alot of rides in Fantasyland and then headed over to its a small world which was the longest wait we had, which was only a half hour and Keegan loved it, defiantly his favorite ride.  Here is Keegan and I on the ride, and no he is not smiling at the camera, but at something behind Correy

We went up to toon town and went on Mr Rodger Rabbits ride, which Keegan hated cuz it was too jerky. but he loved to climb in the tires right outside the ride.

I dont know if you know this, but Disneyland has a Baby Care Center, where you can go and they have highchairs and changing tables, and a place to nurse, it was such a great place. Keegan loved to see how many Cherrios he could get on the ground.


For dinner we went to Rainforest Cafe. Keegan loved to look at the aquarium with all the fish. He zonked out just before we got our table so I thought that Correy and I would have a nice peaceful dinner, but Keegan had other plans, as soon as food arrived he was awake and wanted to have what we were having.


I ended up giving in since I didnt want to fight him and he got a slice of BBQ chicken pizza, with all the chicken picked off, and he sucked all the BBQ sauce off and had a few bites of cheese and bread.


We went to the Build a Bear in Downtown Disney and Keegan made a Puppy that had Mickey's on its paws and ears. The funny thing is, last time we went we made a bear that looked just like the dog, except a bear and joked we would give it to our baby if we were pregnant, and that next week we found out we were pregnant with Keegan.


We headed back to Disneyland so that we could see the fireworks, see how excited Keegan was? But unfortunately they were canceled so we went back and did a few more rides before calling it a night.


the next day we spent just relaxing and sleeping in, so that we were all refreshed and ready for the rest of the week. We went to visit my Grandpa and then got to stop and see my cousin, who's dog just had puppies, which Keegan was in love with. Too bad daddy said no more dogs.

We took Keegan to his first beach visit, he loved the sand but not the water it was way too cold for him


We dug a huge hole, so we had a play pen for Keegan and didnt have to worry about him running off.

To Move or not to Move is the Question

So Correy and I have been looking more and more into moving and have finally decided that it is going to happen. It is just a matter of when and where. When have really been looking into two different areas, Rock Springs, Wyoming and St George, Utah. When we were first discussing where we would want to move I was leaning towards Wyoming, and now the more research that I do, I think that I really want to move to St George. In St George, Correy would be able to continue doing HVAC work and could still possibly open his own branch of High Tech Comfort in a few years. Also, there are more housing options, in our price range, that we could bring our puppies. We are hoping to rent a two bedroom house, that has a yard for the dogs. I have seen a few that I like a lot. We really want a two bedroom because if we have family come and visit we would like to be able to accommodate them instead of having them stay in a hotel. We Are Pregnant!!!!

After being married for a year and going through life's many ups and down we are finally able to announce that we are pregnant. We are due December 17th, so its an early Christmas present to us. So far we have been to two doctors appointments and had two ultrasounds. The baby is doing great with a strong heartbeat. I have been lucky enough not to have morning sickness, the only symptom I have had hasjust been exhaustion and the aches and pains that come with pregnancy. I know it only looks like a blob, but you can see some limb buds and the head in some of them. We cant wait for our next appointment, June 3rd, when the baby will look soo much more like a baby, and I will be at the end of my first trimester. Her is a pic of me the first day we found out. Finally getting around to updating everything

So much has been going on and my time has been spent doing so much. So we are all moved in, well sort of, as much as we can right now. The bedroom is all unpacked and we have made one of the bedrooms into an office with our computers and printer and stuff. But also it has become out storage room with a bunch of our boxes, mainly kitchen stuff and memorabilia and craft things. Our kitchen consists of a fridge, microwave, conventional oven, small counter space and a bunch of boxes. Right now the search is on for cheap kitchen cabinets that we can find second hand. And then a dishwasher and a oven. The bathroom was the first thing we set up, with a new sink and counter space, which is great because our washer and dryer is right there and it makes folding clothes so much easier.
