Two is Better then One

We had a scare today and went in for an emergency appointment and the first thing they did was an ultrasound and as soon as the baby showed up on the screen the ultrasound tech said, Um your baby is just fine, as if I should have known that. We got to see the baby moving all around, it was the most amazing thing. We found out that i had placenta previa, they just told me to take it easy and that it should go away on its own by the 20th week. Baby laying down giving us good measurements and measuring two days ahead Baby doing a little dance. You can see little fingers on the hands and eye sockets and a mouth if you look closely.

After being married for a year and going through life's many ups and down we are finally able to announce that we are pregnant. We are due December 17th, so its an early Christmas present to us. So far we have been to two doctors appointments and had two ultrasounds. The baby is doing great with a strong heartbeat. I have been lucky enough not to have morning sickness, the only symptom I have had hasjust been exhaustion and the aches and pains that come with pregnancy. I know it only looks like a blob, but you can see some limb buds and the head in some of them. We cant wait for our next appointment, June 3rd, when the baby will look soo much more like a baby, and I will be at the end of my first trimester. Her is a pic of me the first day we found out. So we finally got the cabinets done, we bought a used set then sanded them down and refinished them. It was alot of work but totally worth it. We ended up buying countertop that was on clearance at Lowes and I think it looks really good. Since these pictures were taken we added shelves on the right side for appliances. All that is left to do is put in the sink, which we just bought and finish the two upper cabinets that we have and the kitchen will be fully functional. I cant wait hopefully only another week and we will be on to the next project of painting and carpeting.

So at the beginning of April, Correy and I made a trip to California and it was suppose to be our last big trip, before we had kids, hopefully. We drove down there in one day and then the next day our jam packed vacation started. We started off monday with going to Hollywood, where we visited the Wax museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, and the Guiness Book of World Record Museum. This is at the wax Museum, it was creepy how real some of them looked. Then Tuesday we went to the Santa Monica Pier, since Correy had never seen the ocean. We got to go on tons of rides and play carnival games, and then we went over to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, which was small but really cool. They had little sharks and a tank where we could touch the starfish and sea slugs. Then we headed down to the beach and gathered sea shells, I even found a sand dollar, which I have never found in all my tons of trips to the beach.
