Oregon Trip

Image
So this last weekend Correy and I had a mini vacation to Oregon for my cousins wedding. I thought, 15 weeks pregnant, no biggy. Boy was I wrong. A few days before our trip, the bathroom became my home, I had to pee all the time, and we were about to take a 13 or 14 hour trip. YIKES!!!!! But then we plugged it into our gps and it only showed up as a 12 hour trip, and I just thought cool, 2 hours less in the car. Well we started our journey and by the time we got to boise we had already stopped 3 times, and we stopped in Boise for an hour since we had to go to the bank, get gas, eat, and pick up a few things at old navy. Then we were back on the road, the next major city was ontario, which was only 45 minutes out of Boise so we didnt stop cuz I didnt have to pee and we just got gas. MISTAKE NUMBER ONE. So we continue to follow the gps, and before long, we aare no longer on a highway and on a county road with no one else around. And then I have to pee, we end up going 160 miles before we

Baby Update

So I have now started my second trimester, I am already sleeping with 6 pillows, and taking over the whole bed. I have gained weight appropriately which I was so glad to hear because I have crazy cravings all the time, I think I eat more then Correy. I am starting to have a little bump and I cant wait till I can feel the baby move, we should be finding out the sex sometime in the next month, if our baby cooperates.

We have carpet!

We now have carpet, all we need is to get now is some couches. It is so nice to step out of my room and feel soft carpet instead of cold concrete. We finished the living room 2 weeks ahead of schedule, so hopefully we will be able to finish the nursery on time, since I think that will take longer then we expected. This is now what our living room looks like with one chair, a side table and a bunch of baby crap, the baby is already taking over. Hopefully this weekend we can finish drywalling the nursery, and then during the week we can mud after work so that it is ready for texture when we get back from our Oregon trip.

We have Running Water!!!!!

So we finally got the sink put in and hooked up so that I can now do dishes, you dont know how excited I was. We also got the upper cabinets put up but we still need to put the doors on, but that isn't a big deal, which means my kitchen is done, and my goal was to have it all done by the time I was 10 weeks and we finished right on time. Doesnt it look sooo great? Then on my birthday, I told Correy that I really just wanted to get the living room painted and ready for carpeting, so Correy started moving furniture and I cleaned up the place. As soon as it was ready we headed into town to get primer, and the nursery's paint, since I had a 5 dollar off coupon that was about to expire. And when we were checking out the guy at the cash register, ended up giving us 15 dollars off which was super sweet. When we got home, we decided to primer since it would have all night to dry and both Correy and I had Memorial Day off to finish up painting. Correy and I ended up sleeping in till 1:3
